Network Rules
Specific servers on the network may have their own, tweaked rules in addition to these. Please ensure you look for the specific server on the sidebar.
These rules are set out for all players to follow to help maintain a healthy gaming environment.
1. General Rules
1.1. Respect all players
Treat others with kindness. Harassment, hate speech, and toxic behaviour are not tolerated.
1.2. No cheating or hacking
Mods, hacks, or exploits that provide an unfair advantage (including, x-ray, fly hacks, freecam, etc.) are prohibited.
1.3. Keep chat civil
Do not use excessive swearing, spamming, advertising, or discuss overly inappropriate topics.
2. Building and Gameplay
2.1. No lag-causing builds
Avoid creating redstone contraptions or farms that severely degrade server performance.
2.2. No AFK farming
Automated methods that bypass our AFK checks and alter gameplay mechanics in ways that should not be done are not permitted.
3. Server Economy
3.1. No item duplication
Do not duplicate items that are used in the economy (e.g. bank notes, etc.) or perform economy related exploits.
4. Staff and Moderation
4.1. Follow staff instructions
Administration and moderation decisions are usually final. Specific decisions may be overridden by senior staff.
4.2. No staff impersonation
Do not pretend or impersonate to be a staff member of the network, even if it is supposed to be a joke.
4.3. Report issues correctly
If you find a bug, or issue, that you believe is not working correctly, please report it instead of abusing it.
5. Miscellaneous
5.1. No advertising
Do not promote other servers, website, or products that are not related to the AlterraHQ network.
5.2. No real-world transactions
Selling in-game items for real world money is a violation of Mojang's EULA, and our rules.

Help us maintain a respectful and friendly environment for our diverse group of players from all across the world.
